As a rule, they’re punks, but if I was you, I’d watch my back

The policemen … should not be condemned. They should even be commended". Palakpakan. Hala sige, lusob!

Doon Po Sa Amin

January 18th, 2007 Comments off

5. Papatak sa mga balita ang mga kuwentong “Si so-so kandidato inambus o tinangkang ambusin”, “Si so-so kanditato may death threats”, “Si so-so kandidato nagkasakit at nahospital dahil sa pagod sa Public service”, … at marami pang ibang pang-Oscar awards gimmicks. Kasabay nito maraming expose ang maglalabasan.

America Kicks Ass!

January 17th, 2007 Comments off

Ever wonder why despite massive anti-war protests in the US and the Democrats gaining the majority in American Congress, President Bush can still and will be sending more troops to Iraq? – and elsewhere that they desires.

Watch this video, the answer is here.

Let the Work Begin

January 16th, 2007 Comments off

For the Masonic fraternity, the months of January to February are traditionally set for installation of Blue Lodge officers. The installation of Lodge officers signals the beginning of all Masonic labors for the year. Other than Masonic Funeral Rites, Masonic installation ceremonies are usually held in public. It is intended as such in order for the family, friends and guests of Masons to witness and appreciate the beauty of Masonic ceremonies preserved and practiced for ages by generations of Masons.

Last Saturday, January 13, my Lodge, Jacques DeMolay Memorial Lodge No.305 F.& A.M., held its 15th Public Installation Ceremonies at the Scottish Rite Temple in Manila. My wife Bambit and my elder brother Ferdie, also a Past Master Councilor of the Order of DeMolay, was there to witness this beautiful ceremony. I was appointed and installed as Lecturer of our Lodge for Masonic year 2007.

TRAVEL LIGHT, Samuel Bilibit

January 14th, 2007 1 comment

From its inception my blog intends to chronicle my travels in the pathway of human life, and for that reason I have chosen Samuel Bilibit as my nom de blog. Samuel Bilibit is the mythological impersonation of man’s perpetual pilgrimage to life. That is why the original title of my blog, Cogito Ergo Sam ( I think therefore I am Sam – Samuel Bilibit that is) reflects this rationale. This essence had not changed, but for some trivial yet subliminal reasons, I have now decided to change my blog title from Cogito Ergo Sam to Travel Light.

I am still Samuel Bilibit, and I chronicle not only my journey to life but also my travel in seeking further light and sharing that light to those who remain in darkness.

I am Samuel Bilibit, perpetually travelling upon the level of time to that undiscovered country from whose bourne no traveller returns.

I, Travel Light.
